Research and Development

Especially in the area of research and development (R&D) small quantities or prototypes often play a major role. By BCEs‘ implemented production chain starting with cold-isostatically pressed blanks (green parts) and subsequent CNC green machining it is possible to realize economically small quantities in a relatively short time without significant tooling costs. With CAD / CAM technology also identical components from different material qualities of technical ceramics can be produced cost-effectively – the different sinter shrinkage of individual materials can be adapted and modified directly on 3D objects (IGES or STEP file) by computer. Also any other additional changes in component geometry can be edited directly in the CAD file – a costly tool modification is not necessary in this case!

Starting with customized components for abrasion tests, special solutions for furnace applications or apparatus engineering, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, heat engines and sputtering targets – they can all be realized in high precision.
